*** *** *** The Church honors two of the original Apostles, Sts. Philip and James, whose relics are kept in the Basilica of the Twelve Apostles in Rome.

— St. Philip brought Nathaniel to the Lord: “Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth.’ But Nathanael said to him, ‘Can anything good come from Nazareth?’ Philip said to him, ‘Come and see.'” (Jn 1:45-46).
— St. James the Less was also known as “the Just,” because of his piety. His Epistle speaks about the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick: “Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.” (Jas 5:14-15)
